LISS Athletic have moved up to eighth place in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division after earning an emphatic 6-0 win against Colden Common at the Newman Collard Playing Fields on Saturday afternoon.

Daniel Sharpe broke the deadlock for the home side in the tenth minute, and Anthony Kirby made it 2-0 to Liss on 15 minutes.

Sharpe scored his second and Liss’ third goal of the afternoon in the 20th minute, and Jake Warlow scored on 44 minutes to give the home side a convincing 4-0 lead at half time.

The goals continued to flow in the second half as Sharpe completed his hat-trick in the 77th minute to make it 5-0. Josh Benfield completed the scoring for the day when he made it 6-0 to Liss on 87 minutes.
