The Rams tried hard to raise their game at the start of the second half and in the 60th minute they took the lead when Will Essai’s free kick was fumbled into the net by keeper Declan McCarthy.
Their joy was short lived, however, as Jamie Mansell fired home an equaliser for the home side just four minutes later. Petersfield’s chances were further dented in the 73rd minute when Jordan Geddes was shown a red card.
