SUPPORTERS of Petersfield Town are being urged to get behind the club as the countdown to the new season gets under way.
There are less than 30 days to go until the Rams kick off their Southern League campaign and on Friday the club will learn who they will face in the FA Cup and FA Trophy.
Chairman Graeme Moir says now is the ideal time for supporters of the Love Lane club to snap up season tickets and sponsorship packages ahead of the new season – financial support which will be crucial to helping the Rams keep moving forward in the coming 12 months.
Manager Ian Saunders is set to announce a whole host of signings – but he is still keeping his cards close to his chest until the signing-on process is fully complete.
Pre-season training has been going very well and there is a strong spirit growing in the Rams’ camp. Their first pre-season friendly action will come on Saturday, July 16, when they travel to Wessex League side Amesbury Town. The first pre-season home action comes on Tuesday, July 19, when Sholing will be the visitors.
Moir said: “There is a real positive buzz around the club at the moment – we are all looking forward to the new season with renewed confidence.
“While the players are putting in the hard work to prepare for the new season on the field, off the pitch we are hard at work generating the revenue needed to take this club forward.”
