A SIX-A-SIDE football team will be hosting a memorial match this Friday evening in memory of one of their founding members, George Twiddy, who passed away aged 23.

The match will feature George’s closest friends and family, as well as some of his old team-mates from Rogate 08 FC and the six-a-side team he played for every Monday.

Kick-off is at 7pm at The Petersfield School.

The match is open to the public, and anyone who would like to go and show their support can do so from 6.30pm on Friday. Cakes and hot drinks will be available.

The match will be played in aid of Mind, the mental health charity.
