PORTSMOUTH Football Club received the League Two trophy at Southsea Common on Sunday.

The team had won the title in dramatic circumstances on the last day of the season on Saturday.

Pompey were third going into their final game of the season against Cheltenham Town at Fratton Park.

Plymouth Argyle were held to a 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town on Saturday, while Doncaster Rovers lost 2-1 at Hartlepool United.

Those results opened the door for Pompey, and the Blues took advantage by hammering Cheltenham 6-1 to take the title.

Fans then packed Southsea Common on Sunday to see their heroes lift the League Two title.
