HORNDEAN and Alresford Town both face tough away days in the first round of the Sydenhams Wessex League Cup.

The Deans will head west on September 12 to take on one of the favourites for the league title, Team Solent.

Alresford Town also venture west and they will have to beat Verwood Town on September 14 to reach the next round.

Horndean have been given a home tie against either Weymouth Reserves or Brockenhurst in the second round if they win their first game.

Alresford Town would have to hit the road again if they get through to face Folland Sports.
