PETERSFIELD Town face some tough opposition if they are to win any of the cup competitions they remain in this season.

National League South opposition stand in their way of reaching the final of the Portsmouth Senior Cup again this season.

The Rams travel to Gosport Borough on January 12 and the winners of that tie will face Havant and Waterlooville in the semi finals.

In the Russell Cotes Cup, they may face Wessex Division 1 side Christchurch in the next round if they beat Bashley. That tie, scheduled for last night (Tuesday) was postponed.

AFC Portchester await later in the competition.
