ALRESFORD Town have had an excellent week after earning two convincing victories in the Sydenhams Wessex League Premier Division.

The Magpies stunned league leaders Andover Town last Wednesday night, when they beat them 3-0 at Arlebury Park.

Aaron Blaxall broke the deadlock for Alresford in the fourth minute, and Geoff Dunn doubled the Magpies’ advantage on 20 minutes.

Ben White scored the home side’s third goal of the evening in the 58th minute.

Alresford then won 5-0 at home to Bashley on Saturday afternoon.

Adam Pearson broke the deadlock for the Magpies in the sixth minute, and Chris Mason doubled Alresford’s advantage on 19 minutes.

White then helped himself to a brace with goals on 29 and 38 minutes, and Blaxall completed the scoring when he made it 5-0 in the 85th minute.
