Petersfield Ladies 4 Aldershot & Farnham Ladies III 2: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ first team hosted Aldershot and Farnham Ladies’ third team at Bohunt on Saturday.

Another week of busy commitments elsewhere meant Petersfield started one player down.

The home side took the lead in the eighth minute when Hedges placed herself in front of the keeper to deflect the ball into the net.

Petersfield then doubled their advantage with a fine team goal. Cullen switched the ball to Llewelyn at right back, who returned it inside to Daines. Daines and Easton worked together up the centre to get the ball into the D, and Easton reverse flicked the ball across the front of the goal where Hedges was waiting to slap it in by the back post.

The home side were then awarded three short corners in quick succession, with the final proving successful as a straight strike from Easton nutmegged the keeper.

Petersfield were 3-0 up at half time, despite being one player down.

Presnall arrived at half-time to bring the home side up to 11 players on the pitch, although Beaton had to leave just after half time to reduce the team to ten players.

Petersfield conceded two goals in the second half, although they did score a fourth goal when Easton played the ball across the front of goal to Bardo. A defender’s foot deflected the ball away and as advantage was called a diving Hedges slapped the ball into the bottom right corner, securing her first hat-trick of the season and confirming the win.
