PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s ladies’ section had a very busy month in April.

On Sunday, April 9, the new captains hosted their drive-in with the club captain, Mark Sissons, dressed as Batman with ladies’ captain, Maggie Evans, dressed as his sidekick Robin. This was followed by a shotgun competition.

A stableford competition was held by the golf club’s ladies’ section. The Division 1 winner was Sylvia Wicker with 33 points, the Division 2 winner was Heather Anderson with 40 points, and the Division 3 winner was Sandra Redfern with 37 points.

A foursomes competition was held on Tuesday, April 18. The foursomes competition was won by Maire Stradling and Lyn Criddle with 35 points.

A competition was also held for the ladies on Saturday, April 22, with 24 ladies taking part.

Annette Burgess and Frances McMahon were first on countback with 41 points, and Gill Major and June Smith were second with 41 points.

The spring meeting was held on a lovely sunny but slightly chilly day on Tuesday, April 25. The Division 1 winner was Louise Andrews with 38 points, and the Division 2 winner was Sisko Jordan with 37 points.
