PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s ladies’ section have been keeping themselves busy.

The ladies held their autumn meeting, and the overall winner was Jill Fey.

There was also a prize table of autumn fare at the autumn meeting.

The nearest to the pin was Jenny Wiseman, the best front nine in Division 2 was won by Margaret Scott with 13 points, and in Division 1 it was won by Lesley Davies on countback with 17 points.

The best back nine in Division 2 was won by Jenny Smith on countback with 13 points, and in Division 1 it was won by Sue Gray with 15 points.

Fey was the overall winner in Division 2 with 33 points, Jenny Milner-Smith was second on countback with 30 points, and Rona Mitchell was third with 30 points. Lyn Criddle was the overall winner in Division 1 with 32 points, Lesley Eaton was second with 31 points and Sylvia Wicker was third with 29 points.

In the turkey trot competition played on November 11 and 14, Jennifer Neal was first with 35 points, Pene Salter was second with 33 points and Lesley Eaton was third with 32 points.

In the greensomes competition played on November 21, Salter and Jenny Smith were first with 30 points, Wicker and June Smith were second with 29 points, and Criddle and Gray were third with 28 points.

In the yellow peril competition played on November 28, Mavis Eldridge, Phyl Phillips, Jane Terry and Edna Brown were first with 124 points, and Gray, Eaton, Criddle and Maire Straddling were second with 110 points.
