A LOCAL charity, the Melanie Braysher Trust, was the joint captains’ charity last year at Liphook Golf Club.
The trust aims to provide “independence through mobility” for young disabled people and children, through specially adapted equipment, for instance motorised scooters, electric wheelchairs, specialised pushchairs and buggies.
The golf club raised a total of £10,160 during the year and a cheque was presented to the chairman of the trust for £8,476, as this was the balance which was made up of direct donations.
