PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s senior section have been keeping themselves busy.

On Thursday, October 8, 52 seniors played in a stableford competition from the yellow tees. John Timms was first with 41 points, Roy Taylor was second with 38 points, and Mark Vallely was third on countback with 37 points.

Robert Mitchell represented Petersfield Seniors at Age Concern Hampshire’s Over 50’s Challenge, staged at Gosport and Stokes Bay Golf Club. He won the gentlemen’s competition but was beaten by one point to the overall trophy.
