PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s senior section have been keeping themselves busy.

On Thursday, September 10, 26 seniors entered the Pensioners’ Putter, which was a stableford competition from the yellow tees.

The results of the Pensioners’ Putter are as follows: Guy Warner was first with 38 points, Bob Mitchell was second with 37 points, and John Spiers was third on countback with 34 points.

The next competition is the Morgan Cup, which will be held on Thursday, September 24. It will be a strokeplay competition from the yellow tees.

Petersfield Seniors lost against Cowdray Park Seniors 4-3, before beating Rowlands Castle Seniors 6-2.

The next match is at home to Blackmoor on Wednesday, September 23. That will be followed by a home game against Ham Manor on Monday, September 28.
