PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s senior section have been keeping themselves busy.

On Thursday, November 12, 57 seniors played in a Texas Scramble, which was a team strokeplay competition from the blue tees.

The results of the Texas Scramble were as follows: David Dunglinson, Terry Roach and Marshall Smith were first with a net score of 58.2, John Dunmall, Jan Hanus and Gordon Kettle were second with a net score of 61.5, and Jack Beadle, John O’Rourke and John Timms were third with a net score of 63.

The next competition is tomorrow (Thursday) and it will be a Turkey Trot, which is a stableford competition from the blue tees. The match will be followed by a lunch, prize giving and the seniors’ annual general meeting.
