PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s senior section have been keeping themselves busy.

On Thursday, December 17, 36 seniors played in the Gruesome Greensome. The results were as follows: Terry Roach and John Wardsmith were first on countback with 39 points, Dave Arnold and Ian Wesley were second on countback with 38 points, and Colin Connor and Robert Barron were third on countback with 38 points.

The Gruesome Greensome was followed by the senior section’s Christmas Lunch, which was attended by 55 seniors. Marshall Smith, last year’s captain, presented a cheque for £1,000 to his chosen charity, Canine Partners.

There next competition is on Thursday, December 31, and it will be a stableford competition from the blue tees.
