AFTER the Christmas break, Petersfield Golf Club’s senior section have been back in action despite the wet weather.

On Thursday, December 31, 24 seniors played in a stableford competition from the blue tees. The results were as follows: Barry Gibbs was first with 39 points, John Curgenven was second on countback with 37 points, and Derek Harrison was third on countback with 37 points.

The next competition is on Thursday, January 7, and it will be the January Medal. The January Medal is a strokeplay competition from the blue tees, and it will start at 8am.
