PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s senior section have been keeping themselves busy.

On Thursday, February 11, 40 seniors entered the stableford competition from the blue tees. This was also the third round out of six towards the John Henham-Barrow Trophy. Clifford Smith was first with 42 points, John Wardsmith was second with 39 points, and Bob Musker was third with 38 points.

The next competition is on Thursday, February 18, and it will be the Dawn Chorus, which is a team stableford competition from the blue tees. Teams of four play holes one to six as four ball better ball, holes seven to 12 as greensomes and holes 13 to 18 as foursomes.

The next match is at home to Waterlooville on Wednesday, February 24, followed by Corhampton at home on Wednesday, March 2.
