PETERSFIELD Golf Club’s senior section have been keeping themselves busy.
On Thursday, March 31, 54 seniors entered a stableford competition from the blue tees. This was the sixth qualifying round for the John Henham-Barrow Trophy where the best four out of the six rounds counted. The winner was Terry Roach with 148 points, followed by John Wardsmith with 145 points and Joe Selby with 143 points. John Dunmall was first with 42 points, Baron Howell was second with 41 points, and Jeremy Hawton was third on countback with 39 points.
On Thursday, April 7, 41 seniors entered The April Medal, which is a strokeplay competition from the white tees. Tony Wardsmith was first with a net score of 72, Tim Allen was second with a net score of 73, and Robert Mitchell was third with a net score of 75.
