On Thursday, April 14, 42 seniors competed for the annual Bernard Shearing Trophy, which is a pairs competition in which partners are drawn in advance on a random basis. Dave Dunglinson and Ian Wesley were first with 46 points, Bruce Day and Phil Criddle were second with 45 points, and Andrew Gibson and Phil Coverdale were third with 44 points.
On Thursday, April 21, members can enter the St George’s Day charity competition. This is for teams of three, where each team plays different formats during the course of the round. Part of the entry fee benefits the senior captain’s nominated charity, which this year is Naomi House and Jack’s Place.
