THE LADIES’ section of Petersfield Golf Club have played lots of competition.

Rain at the beginning of June prevented a lot of Petersfield ladies playing in the medal on June 6. Out of the ladies who did play, Phyl Phillips, was first in division two with a net score of 73, and Heidi Oliver was first in division three with a net score of 84. On June 1, Lesley Eaton was first in division one with a net score of 71, and Pauline Smith was first in division two with a net score of 73.
In the Millennium Trophy on June 20, Pauline Smith was first with 39 points, Jennifer Neal was second with 38 points, and Lyn Criddle was third with 36 points.
June 27 was lady captain’s day and nearly everyone managed to get round before the rain started. Barbara Lawson-Mills was first with 41 points, and Rona Mitchell was second with 41 points. Chipping and putting competitions raised £161 for lady captain’s charity The Rowans.
