Petersfield were quickly overrun in the first half, despite taking an early lead with a neat shot by Tom. Headley quickly showed why they are top of the group with a style of play that blew the Pirates away. The 4-1 scoreline at half time looked difficult to overturn.

Petersfield changed their formation at half time, and the transformation was such that the Pirates completely dominated the second half. Well-taken goals by Aran and Will reduced the deficit to one goal. With only a few minutes left a corner was headed out of the penalty area to Orlando, who produced a sweet half-volley into the top corner of the net.
