PETERSFIELD Triathlon Club (PTC) members have been busy taking part in events.

Kim King, Mark Henrick and Leighton Jones took part in the TrailX spring duathlon at Matterley Basin, near Winchester. The course involved a 4km trail run, a 15km mountain bike ride and another 4km run. King came second in her age category, and Henrick and Jones finished 31st and 25th respectively.

PTC members also took part in the Reading half marathon.

Paul Hawes crossed the line in 1hr 33min, Sandra Sellis finished in 1hr 41min, Mark Poole crossed the line in 1hr 45min, Kate Parker finished in 1hr 46min, Rowena Rogers crossed the line in 2hr 6min and Renaye Hawes finished in 2hr 8min.

Poole and R Hawes were both competing in their first half marathon, and P Hawes came eighth in his age category.

David Reid competed in the Fleet half marathon and came 34th in a time of 1hr 14min.
