Steep v Liss

STEEP made it four wins in four weeks with a comfortable eight-wicket victory against local rivals Liss.

The victory was all the more impressive as one of its main contributors, Jack Campbell, was the first Steep junior to make his debut.

Liss won the toss and batted first, and openers Kemp and Pleace junior made the most of this by racing to a 50 partnership despite a good start from Kiwi Nick Savage and skipper John Smith.

Smith took this as the cue to bring Campbell into the game. The debutant took little time to settle and bowled Kemp with a yorker....
