Petersfield Ladies 1 Aldershot & Farnham Ladies III 2: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ second team played their penultimate league game of the season against a strong Aldershot and Farnham Ladies’ team.

Petersfield, now safe from relegation, went into the game with a positive mindset.

The visitors started well, but Petersfield took the lead when O’Kelly scored from a well-rehearsed short corner.

Aldershot and Farnham came back harder in the second half and tested the strength of Petersfield’s defence. Bradley, Sands, Sebastian-Todd and Stockley held strong in defence until 60 minutes, when the visitors made it 1-1.

Tireless work came from Conran, Cuthell and Hoe in midfield, continuously breaking down Aldershot and Farnham’s attacks, kept the visitors at bay.

A short corner was awarded to Aldershot and Farnham on the final whistle, from which they scored their second goal to steal a 2-1 win.
