Despite creating multiple chances Liss couldn’t capitalise on their advantage. Eversley created a few chances down the wings but didn’t make them count, and the half ended 1-0 to Liss.
Eversley began the second half strongly and dominated entirely for ten minutes, during which time they scored twice. Seemingly re-energised by the second goal Liss strung together a series of attacks and won a corner which led to a goal, and the game was level again at 2-2.
Liss didn’t stop there, however, and after a shot was blocked by the goalkeeper it fell back to Scott, who sent it into the back of the net to put Liss 3-2 ahead. Eversley then regained control of the match, but despite their best efforts they couldn’t get a third goal and Liss managed to hold on for the win.
