PETERSFIELD Table Tennis Club have been in action.

The A team of Tim, Jonathan and Sue had a good win in Division 1 of the Haslemere and District League, as they won 6-4 at home to GB1.

It was a tight match that came down to the doubles.

Sue played well in all of her three singles matches but she was missing the final shot that was needed in many rallies to get the win.

Jonathan won two of his three singles matches, and Tim led the way with a comfortable hat-trick of wins.

Jonathan and Tim paired up for the doubles and finished the task to gain a morale-boosting 6-4 victory.

The B team of Neil, Keith and Chris drew 5-5 away at Hawkley Bouncers in Division 3 of the Haslemere and District League.

Neil and Keith both won two of their three singles matches, and Chris earned his first win in Division 3 as he won one of his three singles matches. The doubles was a close game that went to four sets, with Neil and Chris narrowly losing.

The C team of Ray, Henry and Catherine won 6-4 at home against Liphook C in Division 3 of the Haslemere and District League.

Catherine and Henry both secured a hat-trick of wins, although Ray lost his three matches. The doubles pairing of Henry and Ray also lost.

The D team of Tom, Steve and Marion lost 6-4 away at Headley C in Division 4 of the Haslemere and District League.

Steve won two of his three singles matches, while Marion and Tom both won one of their three singles matches. Steve and Marion lost in the doubles.
