PETERSFIELD Hockey Club’s senior teams had some mixed results on Saturday.
The men’s second team continued their impressive form with a 2-0 win at home to Fleet and Ewshot’s third team.
Petersfield’s second team have dropped only two points so far this season, winning 14 matches and drawing one to collect 43 points from 15 league games.
The team sit proudly at the top of the Hampshire Division 7 (Men) table and they have a commanding ten-point lead over Trojans’ fifth team in second place.
Petersfield’s men’s third team crashed to a comprehensive 8-0 defeat away at Alton’s fourth team, and they are now in seventh place in the Hampshire Division 9 North (Men) table.
Petersfield Ladies’ third team slipped to a 1-0 defeat away at Havant Ladies’ fourth team, and they are now in ninth place in the Hampshire Division 6 (Women) table.
