Petersfield & Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells 4 South Bucks Wrinklies 1: PETERSFIELD and Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells travelled up to Farnham Common and defeated the South Bucks Wrinklies on grass.

Nick Lawson grabbed a brace of goals, the second of which was a fine solo effort. The third goal came from a cross by Chris Wood, and a lifted reverse stick strike past the keeper by the diving Ali Wheeler. At half time it was 3-0 to the visitors.

The Ne’er-Do-Wells found the second half more difficult, despite more good work from Wheeler and an excellent goal by Nick Daniels, and the Wrinklies pulled a goal back late on.

Petersfield & Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells 1 Trojans Veterans II 3: IN THEIR previous match, Petersfield and Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells took the lead within ten minutes when Nick Daniels took the ball into the circle and calmly slotted past the keeper.

Trojans equalised after 25 minutes with a well worked short corner routine. The visitors took the lead in the second half with a drag flick into the top corner, and a late goal made it 3-1 and sealed the win for the visitors.
