Petersfield & Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells 2 Bournemouth Masters 0: PETERSFIELD and Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells faced a Bournemouth Masters team which had narrowly beaten them earlier in the season.

The Ne’er-Do-Wells took the lead when Nick Daniels flicked the ball past the Bournemouth keeper midway through the first half. However, the defence were often called into action to prevent the visitors breaking out and Ian Burnham had to make some critical saves to keep the Ne’er-Do-Wells in front.

In the second half the Ne’er-Do-Wells posed an additional threat down the flanks through Nick Lawson, Simon Atherton and Graham Jacobs. The pressure told and Ali Wheeler grabbed a second goal to seal the win for the Ne’er-Do-Wells. The Ne’er-Do-Wells showed consummate game management despite being reduced to ten players twice in the latter stages of the match and completed a very professional outing.
