Chichester Deacons 2 Petersfield & Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells 0: THE SECOND outing for the Petersfield and Haslemere Ne’er-Do-Wells saw them visit Chichester Deacons on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Despite a few changes to the team, the Ne’er-Do-Wells started brightly and moved the ball around the pitch nicely. However, the Ne’er-Do-Wells were once again unable to turn their pressure into goals at the key moments. Chichester were tenacious and held their ground, and turned their pressure into goals at the end of the first and second halves.

Gavin Marshall managed the Ne’er-Do-Wells defence well, and there were encouraging debuts for the Ne’er-Do-Wells from the dynamic Stu Martin and the evergreen Chris Wood.

The next match for the Ne’er-Do-Wells is against Bournemouth on Saturday, November 5.
