Salisbury 5 Petersfield 1: PETERSFIELD travelled to Salisbury on a windy Saturday afternoon aiming to bounce back from a defeat.

Salisbury started the stronger of the two teams, functioning like a well-oiled machine with few mistakes.

Petersfield were unable to restrict the flow of movement inside the circle and were forced to concede a handful of penalty corners.

Salisbury took full advantage with pinpoint accuracy, scoring four from six, in addition to a open field goal.

Petersfield produced some well-worked moves and the Salisbury keeper was called into action by Hughes-Stanton and Atkinson. It was Clay who found the net for Petersfield after converting a penalty flick, won by Atkinson.

The second half saw a much-improved performance from Petersfield. The visitors battled to keep Salisbury at bay, although Petersfield were unable to score another goal as they lost 5-1.
