Southampton 5 Petersfield 3: PETERSFIELD were aiming for back-to-back wins when they travelled to a strong Southampton side.
Minutes into the game, Field were undone by a good move from Southampton.
The visitors fought back well and a quick break led to a penalty corner, which was converted by O Atkinson.
Field were carved open minutes into the second half, and they were soon 3-1 down.

Petersfield kept playing their passing game and won another short corner, which was converted by J Atkinson.
The visitors had two big chances to make it 3-3, and Lee Harris did then score Petersfield’s third goal.
Southampton squeezed another goal in though and the home side eventually ran out 5-3 winners.
