PETERSFIELD gymnast Anna Bridge is a national champion after going to the National Grades Women’s Artistic Finals and coming away with the title of National Development Plan (NDP) Grade 3 National Champion.
The competition in Stoke saw all 14 British Gymnastics regions send a team to compete for the title of best region in the UK. The girls, aged 10 and above, were also ranked with their individual scores to find the national champion. Anna and four other gymnasts from the south had to perform set moves in their routines on floor, beam, uneven bars, vault and range and gained the team silver. In the individual competition Anna came first on beam and floor and won the overall gold. She gained a combined score of 65.00, 0.300 above the gymnast in the silver position.
