PETERSFIELD Hockey Club’s under-eights travelled to Portsmouth on Sunday to take part in a six-game hockey tournament.

Gosport, City of Portsmouth, Chichester and Fareham were among the other teams taking part in the tournament.

Petersfield played impressive attacking hockey, winning five of their six games and drawing one which was disbanded halfway through due to a huge hailstorm.

Hulme dominated the game and scored all 13 goals, assisted by some fine midfield and attacking play by S Rowland and C Oatley. Thomas and O’Sullivan provided some good tackling in the midfield and the youngest players on the pitch, M Oatley and C Rowland, ensured that the team conceded no goals.
