PETERSFIELD Hockey Club’s ladies’ section has completed another successful summer league season.
Each year the ladies take part in a Hampshire summer league which is designed to encourage junior players’ development into senior squads and allow new umpires time to practise without consequence. The team is made up of a mixture of junior and senior players across the ladies’ section. In their final match Petersfield played Southampton and won 6-4.
The club is now starting to gear up again towards the new season in September.
Petersfield Hockey Club will be running back to hockey sessions in August at Churcher’s College, as well as some friendly matches and fitness work to prepare for September.
