Petersfield were immediately put under pressure with accurate passing from their opponents. A goal from Delyth Powell brought the score to 2-1 and Petersfield came off the pitch at half time with positivity and faith that the second half would bring more opportunities on goal.

A ferocious City of Portsmouth came out in the second half and scored two quick goals. Petersfield did not give in easily and linked up well to gain shots on goal and short corners.
