Havant Ladies III 4 Petersfield Ladies 1: PETERSFIELD were persistent from the start and put pressure on the ball well to create opportunities.

Havant were a very strong team and it was proving tough for both teams to keep one another at bay. In the latter part of the first half the Petersfield defence succumbed to the relentless Havant pressure, and Havant led 3-0 at half time.

Petersfield were determined to bounce back and a restructuring of their positions worked well. They played to beat Havant and used short sharp accurate passes to create space in front of the goal. Petersfield created multiple scoring opportunities but failed to convert these into goals. Eventually they scored from a penalty corner; Hedges converted this opportunity. The rest of the second half continued to be extremely close, and with the final two minutes signalled Havant made a final attack and managed to slip the ball into the goal. The final score was 4-1 to Havant.
