Eastleigh Ladies 2 Petersfield Ladies 4: PETERSFIELD Ladies travelled to Eastleigh with an amalgamation of first and second and third team players with a classic blend of youth and experience.

Petersfield started the match with dynamism and good combinations all over the pitch, and it was a surprise when they went a goal down early on. Petersfield responded strongly with quick thinking and an acute angled shot from Fizz Easton, and then good interplay down the right saw Lucy Chandler and Jemima Conran combine to set up a Dell Powell goal.

The game now settled down with Petersfield looking the likely next scorers, and Hattie Wilson set up Petersfield’s third goal scored by Jemima Conran.

Petersfield’s midfield were setting up opportunities for the Petersfield forward line, and from one such opportunity another well-struck shot saw Easton score her second.
