Petersfield Ladies 3 Yateley Ladies II 3: FROM the start of this game Petersfield knew they were going to have to work extremely hard.

Yateley put pressure on the Petersfield defence continuously. Their persistence paid off with an early goal.

The loss of this goal did however spur Petersfield into becoming much more attacking. Their determination paid off and they were awarded a short corner which Hedges converted. The half time score was 1-1.

In the second half Yateley pushed towards the Petersfield goal. An early incident in the D saw them awarded a short corner that they skilfully scored from. Petersfield went on the counter attack, which paid off with Hedges slotting the ball into the goal.

However, Yateley again intercepted the ball and the centre forward was one-on-one with the goalie. She scored the third goal off a reverse stick hit.

Time was now running out for Petersfield to equalise. But in the last five minutes Petersfield fought harder than ever for the equaliser.

Just minutes before time Clare took control of the ball and scored the equalising goal to give a final score of 3-3.
