Petersfield Ladies II 0 West Meon Ladies 1: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ second team hosted West Meon Ladies at their home ground.

Both teams started strongly with a lot of movement across the pitch. Petersfield had some opportunities in the attacking D to take the lead, but failed to convert their chances.

A break from West Meon created a chance for the visitors, which they scored to take the lead. Shortly afterwards West Meon threatened to score again, but the ball was cleared off the goal line by defender Sebastian-Todd.

Petersfield defended strongly and managed to drive the ball across the pitch and keep it close to the West Meon goal. Petersfield were, however, not able to get the ball past the West Meon goalkeeper.

The second half was a battle as both sides tried to gain the upper hand but were equally matched, and the visitors managed to keep Petersfield at bay to seal a 1-0 victory.
