Petersfield Ladies II 3 New Forest Ladies II 2: SECOND-placed Petersfield Ladies’ second team hosted leaders New Forest Ladies’ second team to battle for the top spot in Division 5.

O’Kelly gave Petersfield the lead after receiving a perfectly placed pass from Broome. The visitors pushed for an equaliser and were awarded a short corner. A rebound went past keeper Houghton, but Lowe saved the ball on the line and denied New Forest a goal in the first half.

Petersfield started the second half well, and within minutes O’Kelly scored her second. However, the hosts were punished 30 seconds later by a first New Forest goal. King junior then crossed the ball across the D and Purkiss swiped it in. The visitors managed to score one more, but Petersfield held on for a 3-2 win that took them to the top of their division.
