Aldershot & Farnham Ladies II 2 Petersfield Ladies 9: THE FIRST match of a new season is notoriously tough for both teams; however this wasn’t the case for Petersfield Ladies’ first hockey team.

Facing a team which was recently demoted from Division Two, the expectation was that this would be an extremely challenging match.

This didn’t faze Petersfield, and they were on the attack from the first whistle. They were the stronger team and won 9-2. This win against Aldershot and Farnham took them to the top of Division Three. The goals were scored by Hedges (4), O’Kelly (2), Simmonds and Sinclair (2).
