Petersfield Ladies III 2 Trojans Ladies V 1: PETERSFIELD Ladies’ third team came out on top against Trojans’ Ladies fifth team.
A strong start to the match gave Petersfield two goals in the first ten minutes by Greer and Bardoe. Thereafter Petersfield had to battle to stay on top.
Trojans fielded a young development squad who worked well together and were fast on the counter attack.
The defence of Crew, Amesbury, Hulme and Hoe and goalie Coyte kept the goals at bay for much of the game, however, a short corner shot by Trojans secured them a goal just before half time.

The second half continued with both sides attacking and the Petersfield midfield having to battle hard to keep on top of the game.
An injury to Roberts paused the game with five minutes to play, and a frantic Trojans side gave everything to level the scores. However, it was not to be and a triumphant Petersfield held on for the win.
Petersfield Ladies’ third team are at the top of the table in Hampshire Division 6 (Women) after picking up seven points from their first three games of the season.
