Petersfield v Compton & Chandlers Ford
PETERSFIELD lost by four wickets to Compton and Chandlers Ford on Saturday in a hard-fought, feisty Hampshire County Division 2 encounter at the Heath.
Winning the toss and batting first on another warm day, Field openers Damian Carson (25) and Gabe Broadhurst (24) started carefully on a wicket where scoring was sometimes difficult.
Several batsmen got starts but no one managed to go on and make a major score against an attack in which Andy Gorty took five wickets....
