WHAT is good for Premier League clubs is good for Petersfield Town when it comes to preparing for the new season ahead.

While the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have used trips to the United States to help them prepare in the past, the Rams will be hoping a trip across the pond will bring more success.

Unfortunately for the team a trip to the USA is not in the offing as part of their pre-season preparations.

But manager Ian Saunders is using an enforced lengthy stay in California due to work commitments to piece together his plans for life in step four football....
