ON A gloriously sunny Sunday morning 16 Petersfield Triathlon Club members took part in the Chichester 10k road race.
The conditions were fabulous and a number of the Petersfield contingent managed to achieve personal bests. Toby Clay finished in a personal best of 38min 52secs, Roy Matthews finished in 41min 09secs, Paul Hawes finished in 42min 08secs, Mark Poole finished in a personal best of 45min 25secs and Sandra Sellis finished in a personal best of 45min 49secs.
Michael Chadwell finished in 47min 11secs, Kate Parker got a personal best of 47min 29secs, Kate Smith finished in 50min 30secs, Renaye Hawes finished in a personal best of 51min 7secs, Fred McCaig got a personal best 51min 22secs and Nigel Bird finished in 51min 39secs.
Rowena Rogers finished in a personal best of 53min 07secs, Kim King got 55min 23secs and Susan McCaig got a personal best 59min 59secs.
