Farnborough Youth under-13 Hunters 2 Petersfield under-13 Pirates 1: PETERSFIELD under-13 Pirates faced their toughest game of the season against an unbeaten Farnborough team.

Before the game started Pirates keeper James L had to go to hospital with a suspected leg fracture. Aran gallantly stepped forward to go in goal. The deadlock was broken when Farnborough took the lead. This fired the Pirates up and they took control of the midfield area. The pressure was rewarded when a move was completed by Will M. The Pirates back four were in control of the Farnborough forwards, who didn’t look like scoring.

The games was 1-1 until five minutes from the end, when a lack of concentration let Farnborough in to score a winner. The Pirates left the pitch deflated after controlling the game for so long, and they vowed to beat Farnborough when they play them at home.
