Petersfield under-14 Boys 10 Yateley under-14 Boys 0: PETERSFIELD under-14 Boys started their season with a very confident performance.

Within the opening minutes Petersfield’s boys asserted their dominance with slick passing, sharp skills and good teamwork. The fast pace was rewarded with some well-worked goals from attacking play, enabling Hill to open his account with a haul of five goals. A series of set piece short corners that were confidently varied resulted in two goals each from both Ankers and Chung and one from Anderson. Strong performances from Cooke-Priest, Slingsby and Plewes on the right, and Price, Roberts and Morris on the left, meant most of the match was played in Yateley’s half with Petersfield holding much of the possession. Yateley did manage to mount a number of counter attacks in the second third, however solid keeping from White and sweeping from Bell prevented Yateley from scoring.
