Petersfield under-16 Tigers 9 Bourne Blades under-16s 1: THE FIRST match of the season for the Tigers was a home tie against Bourne.

Bourne were awarded a free kick outside the box. Orr spilled the ball and Bourne scored from close range.

The Tigers responded when Callum Hallet got the ball past the keeper on the edge of the box and rolled it in to make it 1-1.

From then on it became one way traffic with Jack Wren scoring a hat-trick, and Gabe Broadhurst and Jake Perkins made runs down both wings and drove the ball into the far corners. The Tigers were 6-1 up at half time.

In the second half there were more goals for Hallet, and a well-deserved goal for Cam Hathi made the final score 9-1.
